there's literally cracks in the wall of where i've been living since july 2019 and it's a really bad house there's mould and everything but the rent was cheap and the stand in landlord is just a really bad person. anyway this one is about being a mostly introverted and socially awkward/anxious person and being in your head all the time which you need to get out of sometimes! the last verse is like yes you don't need a to be in a relationship to define who you are as a person. paranoia? thinking you're not real? hmmm?

stylistically it is similar to one of few. Synth indie pop I do not really know.

there's something going on and it's not very nice
i swear to you, i'm just trying to survive!

are these feelings from outside
or were they just conjured from my mind?
even a therapist can't tell me what is right!

i'm much better in smaller groups
in bigger ones i'm more aloof
so many people here and i'm confused

if i just space out and think
i will not say anything
i'm not unsociable, i'm just taking my time
until it's alright!

all of them just turn to dust
